Lutein is a carotenoid abundantly available in green leafy vegetables such as spinach and Brussels sprouts. Just as the beta-carotenes, lutein is a powerful antioxidant.

Lutein protects against many causes of blindness:

• Macular degeneration
• Recommended as a preventative against cataracts
• Protects eyes from sunlight
• Recommended as a preventative against cancer and cardiovascular diseases
• Protects LDL cholesterol against oxidation (similar to lycopene)

This product is lactose-free, gluten-free and contains no preservatives, colouring agents or artificial flavouring.

Each plant-based capsule contains:

Lutein powder 5% (derived from Calendula officinalis)  200 mg

10 mg lutein

0.5 mg zeaxanthin

Dosage:

1 - 2 capsules a day, or as prescribed.
